     Welcome to Whitman Post Elementary School, home of Rockton's 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders!  At WPES, we strive to build upon the solid academic foundation taught to students at Rockton Grade School while teaching new skills necessary for success at Stephen Mack Middle School.  We have an incredible teaching staff who are student-focused, and who are committed to providing a fun and safe learning environment in which students are challenged to become successful life-long learners.

     In addition to academic learning, Whitman Post has a strong focus on character education.  Students learn the 8 Keys to Excellence, and are rewarded for good behavior through our "Good as Gold" program as well as after-school reward trips.  Students can also get involved in many activities at school including choir, project fair, and the annual forensics program. 

     We have a proud tradition of academic excellence, and welcome parent and community involvement in our school.  There are many ways to get involved, whether that be to join the PTO or the Rockton Warriors Booster Club, become a room parent, volunteer for a field trip or after-school activity, or simply join us on a special event day!
